OUR STORY
Our story began over 40 years ago with my grandfather, the first generation of coffee growers in our family, in the mountains of Dagua, Valle del Cauca. His hard work laid the foundation for our family’s legacy in coffee.

When he passed away, my father, the second generation, took over at just 20 years old. Along with his mother and brother, he faced countless challenges, including the violence in Colombia that forced the farm to be rented out to the Colombian Coffee Federation for 13 years. Despite these hardships, the spirit of our farm remained strong.

Five years ago, my father and I, the third generation, reclaimed the farm and decided to take a new path. We dove into specialty coffee, researching, learning, and perfecting our craft. Our efforts paid off when Flor de Damas earned second place at the Cali Cafe Festival, out of 80 competitors.

Today, we don’t just grow coffee—we honor the legacy of those who came before us. Every cup carries the story of resilience and love for the land. And as we look to the future, my little brother is already working alongside us, eager to lead the next chapter of innovation and quality at Flor de Damas.
